Mason is turning one :o( very sad for mommy. He is growing up way too fast. Faster than I ever thought possible with those sleepless nights. I love all of his new stages though. He is very inquistive and gets into everything. He is super strong (the doctor says very physically advanced for his age). You are going to be a toddler (boo hoo), but you will always be my BABY!
Happy 1st Birthday Baby Mason!!!!!!!

Mason's 11th month
Mason is learning so much. He is like a sponge. He is picking up on the sign language now and can sign more, all done, and eat. He has a beautiful smile full of shiny, new teeth. Mason had his first Thanksgiving Dinner (not so into the turkey, but loved the mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, and sweet potato pie). He is running around all over now and pretty soon, we won't be able to keep up with him.
Mason's 10th month
All he does is smile. Not a bad thing at all! He is probably one of the happiest babies alive. We took Mason to the pumpkin patch and he encountered his first pumpkin. He didn't know what to think of it. He tried picking it up, he tried biting it. It was adorable. Mason's first Halloween was great. He was "Kasper" the friendly ghost. We stopped by a few houses and had a wonderful evening with mimi and grandpa Mazal.
Mason's 9th month
He is getting so big. Mason is still nursing and would probably choose nursing over eating real food any day. He is loosing interest in baby food and eating more "real" food. He is almost walking and loves to perform and make people laugh.
Mason's 8th month
We started giving Mason more table food (bananas, avocado, nectarines, lots of soft fruits). We enrolled him in swim lessons, and he is doing quite well. We have lots of playdates for socialization and mommy adult time. He is standing without holding on to things and saying more sounds like "da-da" and "growling" (lol). We started teaching him some sign language and he is becoming more and more independent (but he is still a "ma-ma's" boy, but I'm not complaining). He is prone to tons of bruises right in the middle of his forehead from crawling into things. He almost has all of his 4 top teeth.
Mason's 7th month
We started feeding Mason some "real" food. By real I mean bananas. He is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on things. He "talks" up a storm. I joined a breastfeeding support group, La Leche League, and have met some really wonderful people. Mason got a v-tech bike and loves to ride it and watch his Baby Einstein movies. We started giving him some apple and pear juice (with tons of water of course).
Mason's 6th month
We started feeding Mason some meats (he isn't too fond of them) but is still doing well with the fruits and veggies. He started cutting his two bottom teeth (not fun at all). His hair is finally starting to fill in and lighten up a lot. He loves playing and taking baths. He is starting to crawl around and is learning how loud he can actually be. He is a total sweetheart.
