Our Engagement

Justin and I were engaged on November 11, 2006. It was the best. He took me out to dinner to my favorite restaurant, Jetty's. After dinner, he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk on the pier. I told him I would really rather not, since it was a windy evening and I was wearing a dress. He was very persistent and insisted that we go for a quick walk. Being stubborn me, I said "fine, let's go" and off we went. It ended up being quite a lovely walk, however I was wearing heels and they kept slipping in between the boards on the pier and I was getting stuck. Regardless, we walked to the end and that is when we sat down on the bench, he got down on one knee, and said the four words that every girl is dying to hear, "will you marry me?" I believe I responded with a pretty quick, "yes, yes, of course!" The ring was beautiful...everything I wanted in more. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening or a more perfect man.
